The year he was an offensive QC coach here under Holmgren, he spent a s**tload of his freetime watching Walsh tapes from practice and games, learning and taking notes.
Good chance he brings Callahan with him as his OC, who has worked with him in the past and has a great track record with developing and getting the most from his OL's.
i like Gruden dude and would be stoked to have him as the coach. i just think Harbaugh brings something new and exciting. i'd be fine with either of them, both are competent coaches. my preference is Harbaugh but i have nothing against Gruden.
