If our offense fails again this season why do you guys want to continue with the same broken system?

Think about this way if Raye fails again this year there's going to be no continuity anyways because Alex Smith will be gone. That being said Kubiak will probally only go to offensive minded West Coast coach to begin with so he's not going to be the answer.

I don't know why it's so hard to understand. It's a pretty simple concept. We're only going to look to replace Raye if the following things happen. Our offense continues to struggle, Alex doesn't improve. If a and b happens Alex will not be brought back because he is free agent hence the continuity argument is b.s. There is no continuity with a new QB.

why is this in the Cushing steroids thread?

I didn't start it. People were talking about Houston failing which led to the enivitable bring Kubiak to Frisco next offseason.

I hope Kubiak gets fired this season then join the Niners as an OC.

PLEASE GOD PLEASE!!!!

We need Continuity

are you being sarcastic? i am not sure because Kubiak is a beast as an OC and he has 3 SB rings to prove it.

No.

Fail.

How different is his system from ours?

pwned.

pwned? wth are you talking about? West Coast passing is perfect for Davis, Crabtree, and Morgan/Ginn. Kubiak's offense would take us to a whole nother level.

Fail? Why the hell would we want a new OC? every year since Alex's been here, He's failed because he's gotta learn a new Offense every damn year. Yeah, lets just get a new OC like every year...

He would have had two years in the same offense if that were to happen.

Are you saying Raye and Kubiak run the same offense? If so, then i don't see the point of getting Kubiak.

Oh not at all, I was saying even if Hypothetically Houston Fails and we want to bring a fired Kubiak in as the OC, Smith will already have had two years in the same offense because the OC switch wouldn't occur until the end of the season. Thus, giving Smith two years in the Raye offense.
Somebody should change the title of this thread. It makes it seem like he is lost to injury for 4 weeks. It should say Texans lose Cushing to 4 game suspension.
Cushing is definitely cheating. How can you make the arguement that Hcg is naturally occuring in one's body (when he was caught with elevated levels of it) and then not find it in his system in later tests? It's obvious that after he was caught with it in his system, he used a masking agent so that the later tests didn't show any of it. Pretty weird that a naturally occuring hormone suddenly stops producing in his body. Hmmm. HMMMM.

Yeah I'm not a doctor but to a layman that looks REALLY fishy.

Cushing to keep defensive rookie award

That revote gave Cushing 18 votes from a nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the league. Buffalo safety Jairus Byrd received 13 votes, and Green Bay linebacker Clay Matthews III got 10. Washington linebacker Brian Orakpo earned three votes, and St. Louis linebacker James Laurinaitis got one.

That's why I posted he hasn't lost it yet on the last page. I figured this might happen given the land slide he originally won by.

How the f**k does he win again!!! Just goes to show cheaters do prosper.

Orakpo or Jarrius Byrd should of won the award after the recount over him.

I like how these people will just lie, lie, lie. All the pro-steroid people seem to also forget it does long term damage to the body. Football players do enough damage to their bodies that will make their old age miserable, they don't need to add steroid abuse to that.

Don't assume that steroid users are not making a calculated choice. Its hard to argue that a couple NFL contracts and endorsement money is not worth the risk
If he were black, he'd be gone for 8 games.

No argument, but how many people will listen when you tell them "30 years from now you are going to pay the price for this" Answer, no one. Also once again, steroids are illegal.
Is he another victim of Ari Fleischer's bad advice? This smells like his kind of B.S.
