I strongly believe that the wild card teams will have 8 or 9 wins -- maybe both.
1. Philly has the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL
2. The Giants are in a death spiral
3. Bears can't block, can't play D
4. Green bay can't block, can't play D
5. Dallas can't win in December
The only real wild-card contender that is decent is Atlanta, and even they fail to show up at times.
We can go 6-2 for the rest of the season (this team finishes strong), we play weak opponents (outside of 3 wild card contenders and Arizona).
If we ensure that we keep tie-breakers over the other three by beating them, we can be a 9-7 wild card team.
Remaining Schedule:
CHI - not a hard game to win. We're looking in the mirror: sh*tty O-line, injured defense, want to run the ball but can't.
@GB - They lost to the Bucs! The Bucs! Can't block anybody and can't play defense...very overrated
JAC - An AFC garbage team. Stop "Pocket Hercule" and they're done.
@SEA - Tough at home, but should have/could have been blown out by Detroit.
ARI - Tough game
@PHI - ALWAYS play to the level of their competition
DET - No comment necessary
@STL - No comment necessary
49er fans need to stop being so pissy. We haven't been getting the breaks and we've lost because of it. We won't always miss the breaks, this ship will turn!
