Me too, but if Best doesn't declare, Spiller is going top 8 IMO. That could leave the 49ers out of the hunt for him.

Running backs have a short shelf life and I think Willie's time has come and gone. Pass!!!!!!
As far as Spiller or Best.. the Niners cannot afford the luxury of passing on the OL and a passrusher at this time to take a platoon running back in round 1. I agree its a need and either guy would be great to have. I just think we need 2 OL with our first 3 picks and a passrusher with the other.

I hope we draft another RB next year, but I hope we take care of the O-Line and get a pure pass rusher first.
But Gore, Coffee and a draft pick (4th rounder hopefully) would still be effective next year, Coffee is still developing and could turn into a tough runner, but we still need a speed back for that change of pace element for the running game.
If were gonna impose our will with the running game we need more talent at RB besides getting better up front
