I think he frees Willis up to make a bunch of plays because he can stop the run so well himself... glad we kept him!!

Yes, and they have a good understudy in McKillop
Did anyone see that Cushing kid (picked #14) for Houston?

Spikes has played at a high level his entire career.
Don't know why Philly decided to let him go.

Hard to believe nobody wanted him last year when we signed him. He was awesome for us last year and has been this year so far. I hope we keep him around until he retires. He should have a good 3-4 years left, maybe more. By this time McKillop can either be ready to take his place or another guy can develop. McKillop looks like he could rack up the tackles but we need to help him get better at coverage and causing turnovers. Yeah, 100+ tackles ever year is great but a few sacks, ints, forced fumbles and passes deflected is so much better.

I say 2-3. 4-5 would have him ending up like Derek Smith.

TKO is playing great. I think he's helped develop, teach, and mentor our boy Patrick Willis a lot.
We got a prettttty damn good defense. That's for sure.
