Very lame

Gatorade baths are for coaches who win a meaningful game. Not for a win in week 1.
Well Mike Smith got one with Matt Ryan in their first game victory and John Harbaugh got one Last year with Flacco in their first victory.

Its a first year Coach-Rookie QB 1st game thing.

Yeah I hear ya. But, being in the division there in and having a rookie QB at the helm with no stud WR every game is meaningful to the Jets.

Because that team is loaded with so much hype...a win is like a superbowl win for them...

Freaking sportsline.com has a jets clock on the front of their NFL site....

A coaches 1st win is meaningful. While maybe it's a little unusual, I don't think it's absurd for a team to do for their HC.

I disagree.

A coaches 1st win is meaningless if it happens in Week 1 against the Texans.

Week 1 wins are never meaningful.

Not really, in the grand scheme of things.

We'll be right back at square one if we lose to the Seahawks next week.
crzy, you have no sense of accomplishment or camaraderie. If the world doesn't fit to your liking, you scorn it.

Nah. I just have high standards.

I don't celebrate 1-0.

I celebrate playoff wins. Well not recently lol.....

And besides, I'm a Bay Area sports fan so naturally I'm bitter and always pessimistic.

Good luck with that.
