Yea but can you imagine him in a 49ers jersey in Madden? We'd be unstoppable and our offensive rankings would go from 65 to atleast 85. You can roll out and throw it to crabtree all the time. The possibilities are endless.

I think the whole mental instability thing is overblown. He's not as messed up as TO, and TO is one of the most productive WRs in history. Heck, he might not even be as messed up as Brett Favre, and Favre is an all-time great QB.
Vince Young at QB with Frank Gore in the backfield gives me chills. If the WRs are good, Vince Young could be a very good QB for the 49ers. Better than that God-awful waste of money we drafted.
And, yes, Vince Young was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Rick Mirer was not, but guess who was? Clinton Portis, Anquan Boldin, Ben Roethlisberger, Carnell "Cadillac" Williams, Adrian Peterson, Edgerrin James, Randy Moss, Curtis Martin, Marshall Faulk, and . . . during Rick Mirer's rookie season . . . Jerome Bettis.

The problem I have with this is I think the move sets us back a year or 2. If Alex fails this season the expierment is over, and we can move on. If Vince fails reallistically speaking he probally gets another year to prove himself.
I want the bust with less committment.
