Pick up Lattimore with the comp, and we can get whoever is left among Quessenberry, Marquardt, Fragel, and Bakhtiari in the 5th. The way the QBs are going, we could probably snag Matt Scott in the 6th or 7th. Then we can take a flier on a raw, talented WR (thinking Patton and Rodgers will be long gone by our pick in the 4th, anyway) and grab Okoye with a 7th comp to give the Mad Guido something to play with.
edit: crazy that Phillip Thomas is still sitting around...
Not that crazy to me. I hated watching him in games. Disgusting angles. Maybe the worst I've ever seen

I really think WR is our biggest need at this point. CB is a need as well, but I have WAY more faith in Rodgers, Brown, Culiver, Asomoagh and Cox as a unit than I do in Crabtree, Boldin, Manningham, Jenkins, and Williams.
We lost to the Giants in the 2011 playoffs in a game where our WRs did nothing. We lost the 2012 superbowl in a game where it became VERY clear to everyone (especially the opposing defense) that Crabtree is the only receiver Kaepernick trusts. If we want the 2013 season to end better we HAVE to take upgrading WR more seriously.
We've already watched too many good WR options go by. We need to make a move for a player that can actually contribute.
Really hoping our next pick is Da'Rick Rogers or Quintin Patton.

I think Mant Teo is still available! It turns out Sandiego really didn't call him after all. Apparently former Sandiego Chargers GM AJ Smith made the whole thing up by disguising his voice!

The only issue with grabbing a CB now, is that they have to be good enough to beat out the other CBs on the 49ers roster.
I would trade up to take Barrett Jones. He would give the 49ers great versatility with playing OT, OG and C at Alabama at All American levels.
Heck I would trade a next years third to get a early 4th this year with all the great talent available.

The only WR we can count on is Crabtree, Boldin and AJ. All the others are coming back from ACL's and won't be ready till later in the season. We need to add at least 2 more receivers in this draft. My picks is DaRick and Swope.

I agree on these 2 picks. Da Rick for sure Swope could be great if he is gone.

It actually might make more sense to bring in a low-cost veteran at this point than to bring in another youngster. Guys who have been around the league and played the 3-4 nose like Casey Hampton or Sione Pouha (who are both still excellent run-stuffers) and who can teach guys like Ian Williams and Dorsey a few things about playing in the trenches. IMO, you get more value by doing that than bringing in a mid-round prospect who may not even make the roster.
