What am I missing about Earl Wolff? 5'11" 209, 4.44, 39" V, 11'2" broad, tackling machine. Seems like he should be higher than a 4th round prospect.
Wolff and Reid could be our Thomas and Chancellor.

Wolff is also listed as a great leader...which the niners value. Not a top ten safety prospect and may be available much later.

I've been thinking the same thing for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if we got another safety.

I doubt it. We picked Trenton Robinson last year for a reason. I see Robinson and Reid as our starting safeties long term.
I'm just a little skeptical about his size. Robinson's only 5'9, I don't recall any safeties who are 5'9 doing well. (Wasn't Bob Sanders 5'9-ish too though?)
Shamarko Thomas!

I also like Wolff a lot. There's a crapload of great safety prospects, so whether its Wolff, Rambo, Evans, Williams or someone else, the 49ers will do very well for themselves.
