Should we draft a RB? (2013)

We all know of Franks Knee injuries in college, we also know that Marcus Lattimore's injury was much worse than Franks. I know it would be a risk to draft Marcuz Lattimore but we really need to start thinking about who will take over for Frank after next season because i think this will be his final season with the 49ers. through out last season you could see him calling for Lamichael James or Kendall Hunter to come in because he was tired. He's one of the greatest RB's of all time and when he retires we'll need someone to take the thrown, I wouldn't mind if Kendall Hunter took over but i think we need a stronger runner, and noone knows how he will return after his injury, now these two chosen running backs are just two running backs i think are bad a**.

Please not a RB 3 yrs in a row we need defense youth RB can wait til next yr I think plus RBs translate N develop fast ....

Marcus Lattimore in the 3rd round is like trading Anquan Boldin for a 6th round pick. Its a great deal!

I want a D linemen and a CB first but after that we don't have a lot of holes to fill..maybe a safety. Also a kicker but I don't know how early we should take one probably not until the 5th or 6th.

That maybe true but we can fix everything in one draft N in a defense heavy draft we need to load up CB/SS/FS/DE/OLB

We have Gore and Hunter for 2 more years and James for 3. Definitely don't need to unless they feel Lattimore is too good to pass up if he would fall far enough. Other than that maybe a power RB who can play special teams and be an upgrade over Dixon but it's not necessary. We can wait until the 2014 or 2015 draft to replace Gore if we want to.

Using one of those "Load up" pick to ensure the future of our power running attack is a good move...

Even though Lattimore likely wouldn't play this season, I still think he'd be a good pick. Get him 100% healthy and ready to go in '14.

Where is the Montee Ball option? All he did was break the college TD record. He's not a burner but runs hard, and catches the ball well. Comes from a pro-style offense too.
