Palmer for a 1st and 2nd remains to be seen now with Peyton in the division
Curry for a 4th I believe
their 2012 2nd for Pats pick in 2011
gave up a 3rd in supp draft for Tyrelle Pryor, who isn't a QB IMO
Just glad our FO doesn't go deals like these.
the only good trade is curry imo

I still don't get that Oakland trade for Carson Palmer . Every time I took to a Cincy fan they laugh about how stupid Oakland was to give them all those picks for someone who hasn't been good since his knee got blown out. Those fans would of been happy for a 3rd rounder.

agreed. I also think their 5th went to Washington in the Jason Campbell trade a few seasons back.
For others I also don't understand the Palmer trade and Pryor in the supp draft with a 3rd rd pick. Made no sense to me.

I live in Sacramento and the Warriors are thinking of tanking in order to keep their draft pick.

Report on radio today in Cleveland is that Peter king has reported that Browns GM Tom Heckett is leaning toward Justin Blackmon while Browns President Mike Holmgren is leaning towards Tannehil. Browns fans were not to impressed by Blackmon's interview on the radio where he came across as indifferent when asked about the possibility of playing for the Browns.

In his MMQB column Monday morning, SI's Peter King was adamant that the Seahawks will select Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill if he is available with the 12th overall pick in the draft.
"You can write this down," says King. "If Tannehill were to be there at 12, Seattle would take him." Per King, teams around the league are well aware of the Seahawks' affinity for Tannehill, and a quarterback-needy club might be inclined to trade up to No. 11 to get in front of Seattle if Tannehill fell. "At Tannehill's workout," one source told King, "(Seahawks coach) Pete Carroll was giggling like a schoolgirl watching him throw. His attitude was like, 'What are we even doing here? He'll never be there for us."

Agree that is just putting something out there to force someone to trade up for him so someone falls to Seattle.

per
Arizona Cardinal's Forum:
TRADE DOWN OPTIONS:
Floyd - Stephen Hill (Stephen Hill talent is pretty close to Floyd and with bigger upside due to speed)
Kuechly - Hightower (Hightower actually fits our defense better and is 20 lbs heavier with same speed)
DeCastro - Glenn (Glenn at 345 lbs has possibly even more upside as a guard - more size/power while also the ability to play RT -- he is quickly moving up draft boards)
Stay at #13 Options:
Reiff - Martin/Adams/Massie (I would take Reiff at #13 since Martin/Adams have more bust potential as LEVI BROWN 2.0's)
Ingram - Upshaw (While Upshaw was obviously a productive OLB -- I think Ingram is better with even bigger upside); However, there are quite a few decent 3-4 OLB prospects that could be taken in 2nd round on a trade down -- Lewis/Branch/McClellin/Curry
So ... at #13, the only selection available which makes me NOT trade down is Reiff (biggest need is a tackle) though if Ingram is available I would need to think hard about staying pat and picking him at #13 -- All other scenarios, I am working the phones to trade down and get a 2nd round pick.

Panthers will draft a defensive lineman in the first, then will go wr/CB in the second.

There's talk that David DeCastro could play Center and if avail. he'd be the odds on fav. to be picked by Dallas and played at Center. If DeCastro is gone, seems Barron will be the 2nd option. They just had Brockers in for a visit and apparently him and Fletcher Cox are the new darkhorse candidates for their pick.
