Not that it couldn't happen, but I'm not a fan of mocks that have Richardson going top 5. Also, I think Tannehill will go earlier - There's always demand for QBs, especially when he's the best one available after the first 2 picks.

If that were to happen, I see the Niners trading back into the second round and picking up Stephen Hill and picking up extra picks. Kinda get the feeling that the Niners fall in love with Fleener but I think he'll be long gone. It's a copy cat league and teams will want to piggy back off the success shown by NE Pats and their stellar tight ends.

Hill's already gone....look through the entire mock draft.
I'd be mad as f**k if the draft went down like this, especially if Fleener goes to the Steelers, but yeah, I'd rather see a trade-down than drafting Boykin.

Drafting Boykin there would be idiotic. I have nothing left to say about that.

Thanks for the work BUT I'd be hugging the bowl, barfing if this happened.
I agree there is a good chance that Fleener will be gone. If the draft playys out like this, I think the best alternative is to trade back. With 2 2nd rounds and possibly 2 3rd rounds we could get a quality WR and a quality CB or DL, OLine.

Thisis a wack ass mock. I think he put Richardson in the top 5 so the Rams still some how perfectly get the guy many think they are targeting. I really don't see the Bucs taking Richardson at all. I think that is the perfect spot for Tannehill though.
And I'm not sure why the guy would say Cleveland can't find a way to trade up when they have ore ammo than most. I know the Rams front office are cool with folks in the Skins front office but why would they make atrade wiht them just b/c of that. they are trying to make the Rams better and not all be fired in 3 years.
Boykins in the 1st is not cool

boykin might be one of the better corners at covering guys in the slot, something niners will need if they lose rogers...he can also return kicks, and is very fast...that being said, he is small and id hope the niners could do better in round one

This would SUCK. I know nothing about Boykin so it's not about him. The Steelers grab Fleener, Houston gets Hill, Wright falls to the Patriots... The Rich get Richer on Offense. There can still be trades that happen in the back half of the draft. If things started to go like this I think we would be one of the teams to do so. Either trade out of the 1st because our guys got picked or, Baalke the aggressive, moves up to get his guy. Denver is a team at 25 that might want to trade back. We traded with them last year so maybe there is still good relations there. That would put us ahead for HIll or Wright in this scenario...
Just a thought...

I really like Boykin, but not in the first. He belongs in the second round. He would make for a solid nickle corner with great special teams play.
Some of this draft doesn't make sense.
