Dwight Jones WR UNC

So, I haven't seen a lot of discussion about this kid. He seems to be lumped in with the middle of the pack guys... maybe towards the bottom middle right now. Still, he seems to have good size and athleticism. My understanding is that he has issues with concentration and he really had a poor Senior Bowl. I don't watch college ball, but I follow the draft fairly close. I'm having a hard time getting a real handle on this kid. Anybody with some insight want to help me understand why he isn't in the conversation with players like Hill, Streeter, and Quick? I'd really appreciate it!

Yeah, I know about that thread, but it's really more about a specific incident. A lot has changed since then and with the combine starting, I just thought I throw his name in the mix.

I was starting a more generalized "State of the Dwight Jones" thread.

His stock dropped to the 3rd. Has great size but his speed is in question as well as his ability to separate. Dude got shut down at the Senior Bowl. I was a big fan of his too.

Yeah, I read about that. The thing is, it still puts him in around the same range as guys like Hill, Streeter, and Quick. I'm just trying to figure out why he isn't mentioned more along with those three.

Of course, this is all moot after the combine. Silly, but that's the way it works.

From a few blogs I've been reading, Hill's stock could go as high as the 2nd round while Streeter will be off the board by the top of the 3rd, mainly because of their potential. They're both taller than Dwight and faster.
