AB's 1st 2012 Collaborative Webzone Mock - Picks Thread - NE(49ersalldaway126) OTC

patriots select Markelle Martin S

he can play the FS or SS position but much better at FS he isnt afraid to get physical he is fast and convers a lot of ground he has good instincs and has great atjlethic ability

picking jenkins and martin will instantly upgrade their secondary

49th, Chargers select CB Jamell Fleming, Oklahoma

Bears pick Georgia Tech WR Stephen Hill.

Eagles(TexasNiner) are OTC

Eagles address their oline needs with:

Kelechi Osemele, G/T, Iowa State

I think the Niners have a great shot at getting two potential first year starters out of this draft. Go WR in 1st then OG in 2nd. Senu then Zeitler. Hard to miss with Badger lineman. I think this is a good draft year for Niner wants/needs and what the draft provides.

Tenn Titans select Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt

After addressing their huge holes at CB and OG in the first round, the Bengals look to replace FA RB Cedric Benson.

RB Doug Martin, Boise State

Doug Martin is currently showcasing his talents in the Senior Bowl, and is showing what many Boise State fans already knew: He's strong, quick, a strong pass blocker, and can even catch passes out of the backfield. He's a perfect fit for the Bengals WCO, and gives the young Bengals offense another playmaker. It was a tough choice between him and another RB on the North squad, but I've heard the Bengals have been giving Martin extra attention so far this week.

Lions select CB Jayron Hosley, Virginia Tech

ATL(m_brockalexander) are OTC

With the 55th pick, the Falcons select

OG Kevin Zeitler Wisconsin

Their offensive line is a big need. Just as bad as the Niners. Sorry to steal our team's pick.

With the 56th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select:

CB Josh Norman, Coastal Carolina

Norman has seen a meteoric climb so far this offseason, and the Steelers top-ranked pass defense is looking to add some young talent. Norman fits the mold of the bigger CB's in Pittsburgh, and could learn a lot from veterans like Ike Taylor. This might be a slight reach at the end of the 2nd round, but the Steelers don't want to miss out on a player soaring up draft boards.

Nice pick Boise, I actually debated between him and Hosley for Lions pick, but went with Hosley.

57th, Broncos select OG Brandon Washington, Miami

Houstan Texans select Chase Thomas OLB Stanford.

With the 59th pick, the New Orleans Saints select:

OLB Bruce Irvin West Virginia

The Saints need someone who can tackle, blitz and run at OLB. Irvin is the best mix of those qualities at this point in the draft.

Packers cant believe this player is still available, so they take clemson DT Brandon Thompson.
