Yes, something that Streeter can improve upon. Still... even from day 1, we can not presume that Streeter would be stifled at the line frequently, and what about the times he actually beats the jam? Then he is beyond the CB and running for an easy deep TD. That's a risk that opposing DCs would have to make.

It only made better because I've never seen any one of our WR make or put efforts into making those type of catches. I guess in a real game, it depends how close that safety is.

^This. They'll get the guy they think is the best player regardless of whether or not people think they could have had him in the 2nd.

Who's to say that "BPA" to baalke and our scouts isn't a big play 6'5" 215 receiver who can run a 4.3? There's no guarantee that he's available to us in the 2nd so take your guy where you can get him.

Ill be honest, i like both these guys, Im a huge fan of Randle, Hill, Streeter, And Elvis Akpla. Those are my 4 WR's of choice, but i would not spend the #30 pick on any WR that will be available. Its simply too much of a reach at 30 when a star at another position will fall to us, and there is similar talent in the second and third..

I want to be clear, im not saying these guys arent talented. I just dont think any of them are worth the #30 overall.

Considering that I live in LSU country and watched every game of his, I'll easily throw the BS flag on this.

Now that said, it's true that Randle can be tougher to "scout".. due to the QB carousel and playcalls. I liked Randle as a 2nd rounder for us, but I can see him going anywhere from late 1st to late 2nd. I'm good with Randle at #30 if our staff selects him.

That needs a little work too, so I've heard. But he can catch the ball.

Baalke and Harbaugh will target the specific guy they want that collectively has all the skill, talent, and "fit" for the team that we want. This is going to be exciting, but the anticipation is going to kill us until we finally get to our pick!

I inserted "or better" because that's what I intended to imply. At 6-4 215 4.36 ... It's near impossible to say he won't get 1st round consideration now, especially with that measurables set coupled with the upside.

And knowing we have coaches that can actually coach now, so seeing what type of players we target is exciting. Also knowing we are only a few pieces away, this is probably my favorite draft in awhile.

Hard to guess what the 9ers will do until we see the FA moves. But we we do not take a top WR fa, I would love to see this guy on our team. Deep speed and the height/jumps/hands to play redzone. Perfect compliment to Crabtree if he plays to expectations, imo

Ok so your one of the few who know who he was because you live in LSU country...whats your point? I know more about Elvis Akpla because i live in Northern Idaho, but that doesnt mean the rest of the board knows who he is.

I Know im over exaggerating a bit, but my point is we go from Randle being the pic, to hill being the pick. Personally i dont like any of the WR that will be available at 30. Having said that, Im not Baalke and i will respect what ever he decides to do with the pick, He has proven to me he knows what he is doing. I Honestly think alot of people here are going to be mighty disapointed when we dont take a WR with the first.

Again im not saying i dont like hill, or Randle, just that i dont like them at 30.
