both are real physical and playmakers and great with the ball int their hands

and both went to Georgia Tech

I really want Stephen Hill to be a niner

Thomas hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential. He's battled some injuries the last 2 years. He's shown flashes.

But yeah, Hill is the guy i want most in the draft. I've said it before today and I'll continue to say it.
I don't know how I missed it first time around, but did everyone see that astonishing vertical catch by Hill??? OMGzz... kneejerk reaction or not... just wow.
From Randle, to Hill. The webzone never ceases to Amaze me. Neither of these guys are worth the pick at 30. Any of the WR that will be available at 30 will be a reach. Take BPA and then take one of these guys in the second.

Lots of people outside of the webzone disagree with you

Yeah and Aldon Smith was a reach last year too.

Ya I think Thomas is finally going to breakout this year
But then again theres the Tebow effect

i dont give a s**t about his 40 time watch him playk

amazing hands deep threat good balance and vision and plays like he is the fastest WR in the nation

he was RG3 only option without wright he wouldnt have one the heisman i think he led the nation in recieving yards as well
But you'll see the 40 time wasn't my only knock on him. He's not a great blocker and we know harbaugh takes that into consideration. Guys like hill are proving they can run fast enough to be a "deep threat", have the size and physicality to be solid blockers as well as become a huge target in the redzone.

His spot in the top 3 at the position is no guarantee, even with high production in college. Heck if you wanna throw stats out there Crabtree had better stats than him in college.

ok i see what you mean ya he isnt the best blocker but he will be a slot WR he wont be asked to blocl

we need him to strech the field that allows vernon and crabtree to work the middle of the field where they are most effective in addition to deeep threat he isnt afraid to go across the middle of the field and is a threat to take it to the hiuse any time he touches the ball

i also love hill has a prospect was on his bandwagon long nefore the combine but wright can bring more to this offense (at this point) than hill

would be happy with either at his point though

Exactly. Wright wouldn't hurt the team as a blocker since every receiver other than Crabtree is mediocre. Use Wright as a slot receiver and sign another starting receiver to pair up with Crabtree.

His diving catch was awesome. Love how even though its only the combine, he still went all out of it.

And yeah DT has Tebow throwing to him. That can never help. But he at least has shown he's Tebow's go-to guy.

Mike Mayock just said he might be a 1st round WR now.

Im starting to wonder if he'll even be there by the time we pick.

there's already been talk of that. Wes Bunting had him going #26 to the Texans even before the combine.

elaborate? worse hands or route-running, IYO?

Niether, I truly don't have the in depth knowledge to run my mouth on either player. Streeter needs to pack on some muscle he has a tooth pick frame. They say he has an extremely hard time breaking off the line in press coverage. You already know how aggressive and powerful the d-backs are at the pro level. The last thing we need is a WR to be stalled at the line to help motivate Alex to what he does best... Throw the ball away! The #1 incentive for having a big receiver is to break the line of scrimmage, and win the jump ball contest. Which Streeter is great at. All in All I give the edge to Hill because of his aggressive style of play. Running db's over excellent blocker and will not get out muscled on the line. That also being said if we don't grab a WR in the first than yes let's go Streeter.
No one on these boards even knew who Randle was before mayocks mock....then everyone was all over him. This guy Hill runs a good 40 and then hes the pick and Randle is out.

Ill be honest, i like both these guys, Im a huge fan of Randle, Hill, Streeter, And Elvis Akpla. Those are my 4 WR's of choice, but i would not spend the #30 pick on any WR that will be available. Its simply too much of a reach at 30 when a star at another position will fall to us, and there is similar talent in the second and third..

I want to be clear, im not saying these guys arent talented. I just dont think any of them are worth the #30 overall.
