No way in hell Peterson's a bust. If anything, he's one of the only sure fire talents to come out of the draft.

well DRC will be up for a new contract pretty soon and you can bet he will want more money then Peterson, they will run into issues at CB and $$$ just like they did with Fitz and Boldin...and we know how that worked out.

I pray there is no rookie cap this year so that happens to them.

Peterson - didn't have the chance
Ponder - way too high, would have been furious if we took him top 20
Brooks Reed - was obviously made redundant by the Smith pick as a pass rushing LB

The Lions tried trading up with the Cards to get Peterson

Freep reporting Lions offered a 1, 2 and 4 for Peterson -- Cards could've used extra pick to package for vet QB down the line. Interesting.
