Your 49ers top 7 if you were making the board on draft day.

If we're talking a realistic BPA board, then...

1. DE Bowers

2. CB Peterson

3. WR Green

4. DL Dareus

5. OLB Miller

6. CB Amukamara

7. DE/OLB Quinn

Where do you see bowers playing in out scheme? And can someone explain why Miller surpassed Quinn?

Our scheme? Any spot he wants, Even qb be tough to bring him down.

1. Peterson
2. Miller
2. Quinn
4. Amukamara
5. Dareus

Would prefer to trade down if one of these guys aren't available for an additional second rounder if possible.

If no one is willing to trade up to 7...
6. Jordan
7. Jones

Granted, Bowers is a beast and I think he's going to go 1st overall, but he doesn't fit in our system.

as for having miller over Quinn, I have no idea. I think Quinn is going to tear it up.
1.miller
2.peterson
3.quinn
4.prince
5.dareus
6.green
7.trade

yeah, you are looking right...no bowers, no qb. and yes, that board is need-biased.

1. Quinn
2. Peterson
3. Miller
4. Dareus
5. Fairly
6. Prince
7. AJ Green

Peterson almost moved me off Quinn during the combine, but not quite! What a great first seven! Can't remember a year with this kind of talent.

As much as I like Von Miller, no way would I take him over Peterson. Peterson HAS TO BE our guy, I'd even trade up two or three spots to get him. He reminds me of Patrick Willis, humble and respectful as a person off the field, pumped up playmaker on the field.

I have Miller 1st now but I will change my board after pro-days and some roster moves if they happen.

I forgot to add mine:

1. Patrick Peterson
2. Von Miller
3. Marcell Dareus
4. Nick Fairley
5. Robert Quinn
6. Julio Jones
7. Prince Amukamara

If top four are gone by the time we pick:

1. Robert Quinn
2. Julio Jones
3. Prince Amukamara
4. Ryan Kerrigan
5. AJ Green
6. There is no 6 or 7, its all about trying to trade down.
If we lose Franklin to FA, then:

1. Patrick Peterson
2. Marcell Dareus { to NT or DE and shift Sopoaga }
3. Robert Quinn
4. Da'Quan Bowers { shift Sopo to 1-gap NT }

< may easily go for a trade back at this point >

5. A.J. Green
6. Prince Amukamara
7. Blaine Gabbert

If we lose Lawson to FA, then:

1. Patrick Peterson
2. Robert Quinn
3. Marcell Dareus { rotates at NT and DE as needed }
4. Da'Quan Bowers { shift Sopo to 1-gap NT }

< may easily go for a trade back at this point >

5. A.J. Green
6. Prince Amukamara
7. Blaine Gabbert
I think clocks would stop if Baalke were to take Newton or Gabbert...fully expect TB to take a QB, but NET rd 2, possibly even later. I believe he'll listen to Fangio and get him an elite pass rusher...and in my mind, that's Quinn. Pairing him up with Brooks could just get VF the pass rushing duo he wants and needs. Miller could still be at the top of the list, but I'd give him a snowball's chance in you-know-what to still be on the board.
1. Patrick Peterson
2. Robert Quinn
3. Von Miller
4. Marcel Dareus
5. Cam Newton
6. Prince Amukamara
7. Blaine Gabbert

7. If those 6 are off the board look to trade back for a team that is hungry for Cam Newton.

I've updated and I will update one last time before the draft... I think QB is what we need the most unless we grab someone in free agency or a trade.
