with the pick #91 the atlanta falcons select jabaal sheard, DE, Pittsburgh.

nice steal, imo.

TexasNiner, you are on the clock...i've already written a pm to Chief according to his packers' pick.

sounds good to me
Looking to give Tom Brady another target, particularly a nice big one to offset all the small, shifty receivers and backs currently used in the Patriots offense, New England selects the second Boise State WR of the draft.

Instead of the small, speedy Titus Young, they select his sure handed, big bodied, 6'3" teammate: Austin Pettis.

nice pick but why not toliver from lsu?

the PACKERS are on the clock and i will be off in a few minutes.

Right now I'm just higher on him, and frankly Tandon Doss, than I am on Toliver.

I also like Salas a lot and considered either taking him here, or waiting for him in later rounds.

But we'll see what the combine and individual workouts bring. That's my current ranking.

Same kind of thing with NT, which I also thought about here. At the moment, I still think Powe rates out higher than Fua or Ellis. Though both are gaining ground, while Powe is slipping.

But unless I see something pretty dramatic (good or bad), I tend to go with what I thought of players before the scouting process (senior bowl, combine, workouts, etc..), because to me 3-4 years of playing, and whatever impression that left, means more than 1 day of a good or bad workout or all-star game.

All that being said, my plan was to take Pinkston and move him to G, but he went just before I had the chance.

I'm at work and can't make my pick but the Packers go for the best DE/OLB to play on the other side of Clay.
Nice pick Texas. I really like Pettis.

cliff matthews, wayne daniels or tom keiser...but they arent worth a 3rd-rounder according to my sources.
ugghh... I'd hate to see Pettis(or Young at that) go to the Patriots.

Nice pick though. I still think he's way to underrated because of his lack of top end speed. Dude is a beast red zone target and runs great routes with solid hands. Honestly, I think he'd be a better fit for our offense than Titus Young and I'm hoping he'll somehow last until the 49ers pick in the 4th round.

Does someone want to throw out a list of available players? I have a guy in mind but I want to see what else is available.
