Dalton: Ginger, soul-less, spread offense

I cut this to make it easier to read. I do not understand your critique of Dalton.

What do you mean by Ginger?

Is Ginger the guy who runs TCU's spread?

Why soul-less
?

He has been a winner, and most winners have soul.

The spread offense criticism might have some merit, but given the number teams in the college ranks that run the spread there does not seem to be much point in putting a lot of stress on it.

Thanks. I have been out of the states for more than 10 years. Clearly, I have lost touch with current idiomatic expressions--and I have never seen South Park.

NP. I love Dalton btw, would be ecstatic if we landed him.
and the best part about Dalton is that he loves Jesus

I love Jesus too but you don't want me to be the QB of our team.

Kurt Warner loved Jesus, but he didn't want any part of our team.

Sing loves Jesus and not getting Kurt Warner helped get him fired.

Coffee loves jesus so much that he retired.
Does anyone else see shades of Jeff Garcia in Andy Dalton? I'm not talking about the fact that they are both red heads, but to me they seem like gutty players who have good but not great athelticism. They also strike me as guys who will do whatever it takes to win and succeed amd ultimately win. To sum it up I guess you could say that they both are gamers.

Yeah but he's not a running first just when he needs too. Also how does Andy Dalton have 40+ wins in college thats not easily done! Why do people rate him so low?

RT @NFLDraftBible: #TCU QB Andy Dalton will visit #Vikings #Bengals #Titans and #49ers. Worked out for #Browns #Bears #Chiefs #Patriots.
My friend from Ohio thinks the Bengals will be taking Dalton in the 2nd round

IF we want any of the next tier guys, we will have to jump over them, plain and simple. Too many QB needy teams this year and most are ahead of us in the second. There is no way that Ponder, Locker, Mallett, Dalton AND Kaepernick last to #45.

Ain't going to happen. Someone is going to spend a bit more to grab one of them including us.
I think we trade back into the late 1st to get him.

may need to do that, how early though?

Or try and make a trade w/New England at the top of the 2nd.
