He has been a winner, and most winners have soul.

The spread offense criticism might have some merit, but given the number teams in the college ranks that run the spread there does not seem to be much point in putting a lot of stress on it.

Does anyone else see shades of Jeff Garcia in Andy Dalton? I'm not talking about the fact that they are both red heads, but to me they seem like gutty players who have good but not great athelticism. They also strike me as guys who will do whatever it takes to win and succeed amd ultimately win. To sum it up I guess you could say that they both are gamers.

Yeah but he's not a running first just when he needs too. Also how does Andy Dalton have 40+ wins in college thats not easily done! Why do people rate him so low?

IF we want any of the next tier guys, we will have to jump over them, plain and simple. Too many QB needy teams this year and most are ahead of us in the second. There is no way that Ponder, Locker, Mallett, Dalton AND Kaepernick last to #45.

Ain't going to happen. Someone is going to spend a bit more to grab one of them including us.
