Awful with the Pouncey pick.
The more I see from these mock drafts, the more I feel like I'll be pissed off at at least one of our selections tonight.

I would love the Pouncey pick, I think he is a better overall play than Iupati and you know how I feel about the overrated Heitman so he could play guard or replace Heitman at center in 2011.
I would like that draft.
I would like that draft.

yeah, i wouldn't mind it either. If Pouncey is a starting OG of today and the starting C of the future, that'd be a good pick. We could get another OG later in the draft to develop until Pouncey makes the switch.
Still I'd rather see us go:
13: OT/Haden/Graham/Thomas
17: trade down

Pouncey is actually that good. I don't want Haden. Pouncey is a rare athlete at Center and worthy of a top 20 pick. He's a massive upgrade for us at Center and could be elite for the next 12 years. Hardley a bad pick.

Would be a GREAT pick. He could be a very good guard for us if Baas isn't doing the job or hurt as always and/or replace Heitman at center as early as 2011 and I think Pouncey by 2012-2013, will be one of the two or three best center's in the NFL. I would love that pick and I think Pouncey at 17 may be a better overall pick than Iupati.
If we do pick Pouncey, it tells me Solari has seen on film what I have for a long time...Eric Heitman is not a very good center, esspecially since he broke his leg in late 2006.

It's not often mentioned that way but I do agree he may be just as good or better at #17 than Iupati. Iupati is just more famous. More publicity. But Pouncey has a chance to be an elite prospect adn like you said maybe one of the best 2 - 3 centers in the game.
