I'm no going to bust on Tebow anymore, he really seems to love the game for the game and not money, which is more than I can say for some guys comming out of college. Plus all religious talk and mechanics aside, the guy is busting his ass to get better and ready for the NFL. My hats off to him.

That's so weird this kid at my highschool who is a Bills fan keeps on talking about how much he wants the Bills to draft Tebow. Maybe Bills fans are smitten with Tebow or something

Agreed.. Tebow is an extremely high character guy and his work ethic is off the charts.. He is just not a an NFL caliber QB right now. He may become one some day and he seems genuinely commited to work his tail of to getting there.

Key words: Off Chance. people keep talking about his "work ethic" His "winning attitude" blah blah. The REALITY is IF he is really a hard worker why is he JUST NOW trying to fix his mechanics?? he's had 4 years to fix them and he waits til after his senior year?? According to the NFL network his coaches at UF tried to correct it but when it came down to it he reverted back to the crappy delivery we see today. The Hawks can have his windup.

Tebow reminds me of shaun hill. no matter how hard he tries and no matter how bad he wants to win, he just cant do it in the nfl becuase of his lack of physical skills

Tebow is 10 times the athlete Shaun Hill is. It's not even close.
What Tebow needs is 1 - 2 years to sit and learn. He needs time under the center and needs to correct some things with his throwing motion. But he is a good enough athlete to succeed in the NFL someday. Probably not right away. But I wouldn't say never.

Quote:
Asked about Tebow changing his throwing motion, Holmgren said, "That's the most difficult thing to change in any quarterback. . . . It's hard to do, particularly in pressure situations."
Tebow did what his coaches asked of him. He did work on them somewhat but Dan Mullen worked on shortening his stance to get a quicker release and Tebow did not want to completely alter his motion during his 4th year to hurt UF's chances of a National Championship. His coaches never asked him from day 1 when he came in as a freshman to rework his entire motion when he got to the program.
Also were you aware that NCAA rules prohibit him from putting in the necessary hours to improve them with his coaching staff.
And yes with his work ethic, no NCAA rules to prevent him from working with his NFL QB's coach, OC and any QB's on his roster who wish to help him as well he has a chance with time to sit and learn to become a very successful QB in time. I really don't want him landing in Seattle because should he develop successfully we are likely to have to deal with him for the next 10 years.
Hopefully he lands in Jacksonville.
