Yes ,focus on your own draft, but division rivals come around twice a year. Totally ignoring say N. Sue, or Spiller, or any potential long term problem wouldn't be prudent. If the opportunity presented its self to turn the table on said player and yet improve our team while disrupting a rivals draft strategy, very shrude move.

No. How do you know what their draft strategy is? You don't draft on a presumption of what another team may do.

There is enough going on and enough pressure over the draft. The team must focus in on our own needs and strategies.

Why are there situations where a team moves up in the draft? Isn't it taking into consideration another teams need for the player you covet? So teams monitor the needs, preferences, tendencies prier to the draft also.

Yes if you want jerry Rice and you think another team is going to draft him you make a trade to move up so you can pick him first but don't draft Spiller just to keep him out of Seattle.

Your right , draft Spiller to be our RS that gives us grate field position, change of pace back defenses need to contort to, quality relief for Frank, out side speed, and an up field threat, take it to the house dynamic weapon!!
I can totally see us trading down our 13th pick for the 17th pick
