That obviously depends on where he goes. If he goes at #5 it'll be substantial.

2009 Mark Sanchez was 5th pick. 5 years $44.5 million. $8.8 million a year. QBs artificially inflate positional salaries though, so this isn't typical.

2008 was DT Glenn Dorsey. Signed a 5 year $33 million contract with $22.5 million guaranteed and another $18 million through incentives. $6.6 million a year

2007 was OT Levi Brown. 6 years, $37 million, $18 guaranteed. $6.1 million a year

2006 was LB A.J. Hawk. 6 years, $37.5 million. $6.25 million a year

2005 was RB Cadillac Williams. 5 years, $31 million. $6.25 million a year.


Looks like the #5 slot is worth about $6 million a year average.
