Why would Taylor not return? He was a rookie this year
keep him drop Roman

heitmann and haralson have trade value, you could trade them.
Heitmann to Washington, zone blocking is his strong suit
haralson to a 4-3 team

Why would we cut Heitmann and move Baas into his starting role ? Wouldn't we be better off going into TC with Heitmann, Baas, Wragge and Wallace all competing for jobs ?

Heitmann won't be released and chances are he will be the starting center, if Baas is kept around and moved to center he will first have to win that job and if he did I'd bet Heitmann would still be kept as a reserve and be active on gameday given his versatility and experience.

And why would Haralson not be returning ? If Briggs won a roster spot PH would still be on the roster in a reserve role, we might even carry 9 LB's at that point. Considering that he just signed an extension in April, it's doubtful we'd cut him straight up, he'd be given another chance on the roster.

Change your title to "Fantasy Mock Offseason" because it is not realistic with those moves.

I'd be very happy if we could get Mankins. Means we could target Spiller rather than Iupati.

I don't even know where to begin.... this offseason plan is just wrong on so many levels.
wtf? Why are we cutting Heitmann? He was probably the most consistent lineman after Staley last year from the starters.

Baas hasn't been that impressive at guard what makes you think suddenly he'd make a better center?

Not to mention the way things are now with the CBA Mankins would cost at least a first rounder to sign since he'd be a RFA.
We can just forget about Mankins. He's not leaving New England.

Heitmann was better than Staley last year. 2 best players we had on the O-Line last year were Heitmann and Sims.

I do not see Ahmad Brooks being either signed or released anywhere is this scheme.

Did I miss something?

Well he's on the depth chart in front of Hughes, so I imagine he has him being resigned and taking Haralson's place as a starter.
Nice draft but why would u release haralson when he just signed a new deal.
I'd resign Sims - he was a very good and proven reserve LT. The last thing we need to do is get rid of any Oline people who played better than average unless you have a better person to replace them
