i dont think its been bad, we have gotten thru 9 picks, not great but not terrible.

With the trades allowed, it will take a bit longer for picks and trades to develop.

I do think we might have been better off doing a 8 person or 16 person draft, probably 8.

My proposal is for the 8 person draft, we hold it maybe in a chat room, and do picks live. Just a thought, any other thoughts/ideas on the next mock?

I still remember how in every mock we had the panthers taking Freeman. I guesse they should of listened to us lol

Joe Haden, cornerback from the University of Florida



Without a doubt, the #1 cornerback in this draft. With Nnamdi Asomugha locking down one side of the field, Haden can develop into the lockdown corner on the other side. With so many needs, other players were considered but I couldn't find a better value than Haden. Combined with an improving pass rush (Greg Ellis and Richard Seymour), the team defense has just improved dramatically, and other areas can be addressed in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, where I have 3 picks.

All that said, if anyone had their hearts set on Haden, I am not opposed to trading his rights for a later 1st round pick and a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Open to any offers. PM if interested.

No way Al Davis makes this pick. Chris Johnson is a pretty good corner in his own rights. That's why they got rid f DeAngelo Hall and that's why Lane Kiffen got fired. For leaving Johnson on the inactive list and not wanting to play him like Al wanted.

No way they go corner at #8.
