I would be surprised if the 49ers draft a player represented by Parker after this.

However, if Parker represents Berry

and berry falls out of the top 5 and is there at lets say #8....

We aren't going to draft a Safety next year...it's going to be Oline or Dline or a pass rushing LB.

Taylor Mays would be AMAZING with Nnamdi Asomugha lets hope they dont get lucky and get Mays because then theyll be set for another 10-15 years in the secondary. I'd rather not hear about the Raiders shutting people down and Taylor Mays cracking skulls in a black and white jersey NO NO NO! I'd also never want a cb/safety that gets run over by qbs so no thanks on the eric berry. I'll keep Goldson thanks!

LOL clearly you haven't watched Eric Berry or heard the buzz on him. Eric Berry is THE BEST PLAYER in the 2010 draft. The Florida/Tennessee game showcased his talents as he intercepted Tebow and wreaked havoc all over the field. I don't remember him getting run over by any QB for that matter.

My brother is a Florida fan so yes I was forced to watch that game and yes he got an interception and he's a good player. But he got ran over by Tebow any QB should NOT push you back EVER. I'm not saying Tebow hit sticked him lol but he did actually get the better of Berry on that play and I don't want anyone who cant take out a QB. We all seen cutler get in the endzone against the Lions when a real defender would have SMASHED him. I'm on your side though I'd be happy with either safety they both have their strengths but atleast agree with me that safety is not the biggest need on this team right now.

Yes I agree that safety is not our biggest need but with a talent like Berry it could be like saying NO to Ed Reed. So far in the season, there hasn't been an offensive lineman that stood out. Plus, one can be had with our second 1st rounder or in the 2nd round. Also, Michael Lewis is not getting any younger, so it would be good to get a replacement for him. Eric Berry is a hitter and a ballhawk. He has the best tackling form for a safety. It doesn't matter that he got pushed back a little against Tebow. If you haven't noticed, Tebow is a fullback at the QB position. He runs a lot of linebackers over.

This guy will be a stud. I know we really need an O-Line, but this guy is special. This guy is like an Ed Reed clone. We have two draft picks in the first round. I wouldn't mind using the first one on Eric Berry and the 2nd on O-Line. We also could get an O-line from free agency.
