That would leave us without a top tier OLB and NT again. I would love to take both but I'm not sure if we take either.

I'm a USC fan but Berry is the next Ed Reed.

My gut tells me Berry & Mays will both find extended success within the NFL, so if we were to land either (if we're lucky enough) that would be an amazing bonus. -2010 is going to be an amazing draft, and we have 2 1st round picks!

Berry looked terrific today. Just a great effort in pass, and especially run support.

Meanwhile, Mays took a bad angle and overran the huge early pass that went to the USC 3 yard line. Bad, bad error.

Mays is currently out with a knee injury.

I think Berry has clearly overtaken Mays as the best safety in college. Hopefully the Niners have a shot at him in the draft next year.

Mays whiffed big time on a huge passing play today.

yea, he was all over the field in the UCLA v Vols game. Always around the ball whereas I hardly saw mays.

When I did, he didn't wrap up with his tackles and instead tried to mow the ball carrier down. Didn't work at all.

People seem to just like Mays cuz he's freakish in terms of size and speed. I hope those same people that like Mays are not the ones that despise Vernon...it's almost the same thing. May will have a very good combine and get picked higher than he should.

I'll hold out hope that Mays' combine numbers will drop Berry to us, but I have a feeling he'll be one of the first three defenders off the board.
