I had to ask my fellow Niner faithful for some advice. I have my draft tomorrow night. I'm picking 11th in a 12 person league. I'm going to draft the best available RB (hopefully Gore) at 11. After that I'm really split on what I should do next. I'm really torn between taking the best QB (Brees or Brady) or taking another RB. Sure I can get a QB later but I think getting the best QB could help me a lot. Any thoughts are really appreciated.

I say get Gore, then best WR, then get best QB (Rodgers or Rivers) in 3rd
or get best QB, Brees or Brady, then best WR in 3rd (Smith or Boldin)

I think that the best QB would get me more points every week compared to the best WR. I'm really torn between a Slaton pick or a Brees/Bready pick. Slaton did really good for me last year.

Go Brees/Brady ... Id like to have 1 stud at RB, QB, and WR and then fill in the other spot with sleeper types.
Id go RB , WR , QB

My only problem is that Brees/Brady will be gone by the time I draft in the 3rd. Do you think it's too early to take them with my 2nd pick (14th overall)? I can still get a solid WR in the 3rd.

Ya but you can prolly get Rivers/Warner in the 3rd and a stud WR in the 2nd ... I think its better value that way. Of course you just need to see who is available with that pick.

I'm with you. Except I'd go WR/RB/QB The #12 owner is likely thinking the same as him. So might as well get the Best WR and settle for whatever RB he leaves. Although if the #12 owner does take a QB at #12 or #13. wait until the 4th to get a QB. Since the owner behind you won't be taking one.

If you pass on Brees or Brady in round 2, you won't get a shot at either in round 3 unless your opposition are idiots. A QB usually scores the most points in the league if you have 6 pts for every TD regardless of position. Guys who take WRs at the end of round 1 usually end up with crappy RBs. In both of my drafts, guys like Gore, LT, and Steven jackson have been lasting to the end of round 1. I'd take any of the three and then get a QB early in round 2. Someone like Roddy White or Greg Jennings will slip to round 3 and you can snag a player there.
