San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo studied under New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for nearly four seasons. The following video emerged which examines some of the on-the-field similarities between the two quarterbacks.

On Monday, Garoppolo was asked about the video and if he has seen it.

"I did see that," he answered. "It kind of creeped me out. I don't know. We were always kind of similar. Obviously, I picked up some stuff from him. But, I don't know. I saw it, and I was like, 'That's a little weird.'"

Garoppolo is in his first offseason with the 49ers and his first offseason as the incumbent starter of an NFL franchise. He and the 49ers finished the 2017 season 5-0, which went a long way to earning him a five-year contract worth up to $137.5 million.

Still, having an entire offseason to digest the 49ers' playbook is better than the crash course Garoppolo went through last year following an October 30 trade that sent him from New England to San Francisco.

"I'd say the biggest difference is the new playbook," Garoppolo said. "Still picking stuff up and critiquing the little things, but having the film from last year and going off of that has really helped a ton [...] It's weird because certain things that I thought during the season are a little different or there's more to it than they were telling me at the time, just because we didn't have the time. You find out the little finer details to each route concept, things like that.

"It's been good though. A lot slower than during the season. That was a bit of a whirlwind."

La Canfora reposted a social media post, which you can view below. With @Ravens creating cap room, some of it could be earmarked for a WR. By David Bonilla

The San Francisco 49ers likely aren't finished fortifying their defense and have reportedly expressed interest in bolstering their defensive backfield. If they require assistance making a significant move, one 49ers player is prepared to lend a helping hand. Last week, the Buffalo Bills released All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White, who appears to be an ideal fit for San Francisco's needs opposite Charvarius Ward. Over the weekend, Ward took to social media to reveal that he and White share the same agent and that he is willing to nudge the free-agent defensive back in the right direction. Ward described White as a "hand in glove
