But Evans left the game before halftime with a rib injury and was ruled out as the third quarter was beginning.
Running back Christian McCaffrey added a 1-yard touchdown on the opening drive of the third quarter to give the 49ers some breathing room, and on his bobblehead day, tight end George Kittle caught two touchdown passes from Purdy in the fourth quarter, putting the game out of reach.
