Coach Kyle Shanahan shared the news via conference call on Monday afternoon that receiver Demarcus Robinson and defensive lineman James Thompson Jr. both suffered high ankle sprains and will miss multiple games. Mike Evans, who left the game with a hip injury, could miss practice this week, but Shanahan is hopeful the All-Pro could return Sunday when the 49ers host the Arizona Cardinals.
General manager John Lynch will be looking at free-agent wide receivers that could be available, but the team expects Jordan Watkins, Jacob Cowing and KhaDarel Hodge to step up going forward as well.
