The San Francisco 49ers improved to 5-5 after routing the Jacksonville Jaguars 30-10 in Week 11.

Today, Pro Football Focus released its grades from the game. Which Niners played well, and who has more work to do?

Below are Pro Football Focus' five highest-graded 49ers players on offense against the Jaguars.

Below are the five highest-graded 49ers players on defense.

  • Marcell Harris, LB, 91.3, 7 snaps
  • Josh Norman, CB, 89.6, 37 snaps
  • Talanoa Hufanga, FS, 88.4, 16 snaps
  • Kevin Givens, DT, 84.0, 15 snaps
  • Azeez Al-Shaair, LB, 82.4, 36 snaps

Below are the three lowest-graded 49ers players on offense.

  • Jeff Wilson Jr., RB, 47.6, 40 snaps
  • Laken Tomlinson, LG, 53.5, 69 snaps
  • Kyle Juszczyk, FB, 55.9, 38 snaps

Below are the three lowest-graded 49ers players on defense.

  • Dontae Johnson, DB, 31.4, 8 snaps
  • Jaquiski Tartt, FS, 33.1, 40 snaps
  • Ambry Thomas, CB, 37.4, 11 snaps

Quick Takeaways

A comfortable lead in the fourth quarter gave some of the 49ers rookies a chance to get some playing time. That includes cornerbacks Deommodore Lenoir and Ambry Thomas. While Lenoir fared well in his eight snaps, Thomas earned the team's lowest overall Pro Football Focus grade.

The game's highest offensive grade for either team went to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who led the 49ers with seven receptions for 85 yards on seven targets. It's safe to say that the second-year receiver is earning more opportunities after seemingly being limited earlier in the season.

While Jimmy Garoppolo's overall grade of 69.6 didn't come close to his grades in the previous three games, the quarterback was efficient, completing 16-of-22 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Garoppolo now has 10,154 career passing yards.

Tackle Trent Williams remains on pace to earn Pro Football Focus' highest-ever single-season grade for an individual player. He now sits at 97.6 through his nine game appearances, a slight drop from his 97.8 overall grade leading into Week 11. Williams has been graded at 81.8 or higher in all but one game this season.

Cornerback Josh Norman came very close to besting his season-high grade of 89.7 in Week 3. He finished the game with a tackle, a pass defensed, and a key forced fumble, which linebacker Fred Warner recovered.

Rookie safety Talanoa Hufanga had his highest-graded NFL game, besting his previous high of 75.5 during Week 10. Defensive tackle Kevin Givens also earned a season-high mark.

By David Bonilla

While it would be foolish to declare that the San Francisco 49ers lack any deficiencies, the team remains one of the most talented rosters in the NFL. That alone is enough to place them high on media power rankings. The truth is, power rankings mean very little at this stage in the offseason. Yes, free agency has come and gone, but NFL rosters are about to undergo further changes this week, with the 2024 NFL Draft slated for Thursday. Pro Football Focus' Amelia Probst posted a power ranking based on the analytics site's data on each roster and the offseason roster moves made so far. The San Francisco 49ers came in at No. 2, behind only the Kansas City

Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus unveiled a seven-round mock draft for the San Francisco 49ers, addressing several key needs for the team in the 10-pick projection. Interestingly, the mock draft sees the team adding two legacy players. But before delving into that, let's examine the first three selections. Sikkema has the 49ers shoring up their offensive line at pick No. 31 with the selection of former Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan. Morgan allowed 14 pressures and two sacks in his 477 pass-blocking snaps at left tackle in 2023. He earned an impressive pass-blocking grade of 87.3 and an overall grade of

A handful of legacy players hope to make their mark, possibly receiving a life-changing call from 49ers general manager John Lynch. Brenden Rice, son of Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice, is one such player. The former USC wideout is projected to be a fourth-round draft pick and had the opportunity to meet with the 49ers at the NFL Scouting Combine. When asked about the possibility of joining his father's former team, Brenden confidently expressed, "Honestly, I just
