San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan jumped on a conference call with reporters on Monday, one day after his team's thrilling playoff-clinching 27-24 overtime road win over the Los Angeles Rams. He provided several injury updates. Trent Williams, tackle Williams did not play on Sunday. He was inactive due to an elbow injury. Shanahan says Williams will be doing everything he can to play against the Cowboys. However, the coach didn't sound optimistic that his starting left tackle would practice on Wednesday. K'Waun Williams, one of the best slot corners in the league, came off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday, the day before the San Francisco 49ers' regular-season finale against the Los Angeles Rams. He did not play in that game, though. A report from NBC Sports Bay Area indicated the cornerback wasn't feeling well enough to do so.
