The 49ers have added an accomplished eight-year veteran to what is perhaps the most loaded position on their reshaped roster. The 49ers signed defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks, a 2009- second-round pick with 61 career starts, to a one-year deal. Marks, 30, has 205 tackles, 19 sacks and five forced fumbles in a career that's included stops with Tennessee (2009-12) and Jacksonville (2014-16). The Jaguars released Marks in March after he made just three starts and had 22 tackles the previous two seasons. Marks spent the past three seasons with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, who was Jacksonville's linebackers coach.
