Damn, they have 11 team captains. How are you going to beat a team with 11 captains? We usually only have 7.

Its a good thing the 2016 Warriors lost in the Finals then.

We just need Brock and CMC to turn into 2016 Lebron and Kyrie.

they won the NBA championship.

It's going to be ugly if the 49ers don't have Bosa and Height...the pass rush is going to be pathetic.

lol I meant the 2015-16...

but yeah without Bosa and Height the only chance of our pass rushing doing anything would be Osa playing out of his mind Week 1...
Niners gonna show Aussies how to slaughter / prepare lamb for a bar b que

I wouldn't even send an XFL team to Australia, let alone the niners. Completely unfair to niners and since the travel and jet lad take a serious toll for quite a while.
Kind of sucks this game doesn't count as our Thursday night game for this year.
Vegas line still at only 3.5 points on a neutral site. So it can go either way which shows 49ers can also be considered a super bowl favorite if they stay healthy.

Garrett's knees are hurting, Stafford is old, and Aaron Donald is washed up.

The idea, at least I think it is, will be as if they're a navy seal team going into perform some mission just getting in there and getting the hell out. Not giving themselves the option to have to even adjust for the 3 days or so it takes. Because the game starts around 5:30 PM pacific 9/10 it appears they're attempting to keep their bodies on PT the duration of the trip there, playing the game, and returning home immediately after wrapping things up afterward which all is about 3 1/2 days. Maybe they're actually doing it right and maybe they're screwing themselves over, who knows.

Agree. Offense will always be good under Kyle - no matter who is playing on our offense. It's been defense that has failed us in championship games. I don't mind a loss, as long as our defense looks sharp and good in the first game and stays healthy. Having said that, i hope we kill the lambs. Add in good special teams play too. I hope our special teams this year isn't a weakness like in past years.

Rams are hoping & praying Stafford can yet again stay healthy for the entire season at age 38. Behind him, their QB room isn't very impressive (watched a lot of Simpson at 'Bama and wasn't really all that impressed).

It can be said any team would be in trouble if their QB1 went down to injury. It's true in most cases but not with the Niners in having Jones as a backup (as last year showed). Thankful for that in addition to hoping Purdy stays healthy.

The Rams will also be holding out hope their older playmakers such as you mentioned above will be & stay healthy. Their roster is one of the oldest in the league.

If the Niners can be somewhat healthy this season and have nothing too close to what happened last season with all their injured playmakers on both sides of the ball, I'll very much like their chances going into any game vs. any team at any location - including Australia vs. the Rams.

Bring on the Rams…bring on the season!

Agree with you. Purdy put us ahead defense failed twice. ST has always had me crossing my fingers Looking forward to a good game.
I mean I feel like no one is talking about this
