This is true but i have some really irritating friends (who I still care deeply about not from Bay Area) and if we get killed week one it sets the tone of discussion for the season. I already have to hear their crap on the Rams during the year.

But, I hate them but man they are going in as usual. They don't care about 1 picks. I wished we would have tried to give big for Max even if a couple big picks but maybe they did. Is Joey just dead and burried at this point on the golf course even if just a rotation guy?

Last season the Niners beat the Seahawks in the opener when everyone was healthy and the Seahawks hadn't gotten hot yet. This year the Niners aren't completely healthy going into the opener with the Rams. Bosa and Kittle are both question marks. We know Williams and Pearsall are out. It's a little different than last year.

I agree that week 1's are weird. This is a neutral field game with a ton of travel being handled differently by both teams. We have extra time to prep for it from a gameplan perspective. Weird s**t can happen.

There's zero doubt in my mind that the Rams have the better roster and will be the better team this season barring injury.

lol Good question. Imo i feel the same can be said about the rams though . Should be an interesting season. Def not as confident as I was weeks back before all these injuries began piling up and seeing that a few 2nd year guys I expected to take a leap have not and don't look particularly good period.

I have some friends who have traveled back and forth from the US to Australia for dirt track racing in the off-season for the US. They always tried to go at least three days before their first race. Even though the tried to sleep on the long flight, it took another two days to get their bio clock in sync. Let's hope the Rams are still sleeping come game time.

We need to sign Daddy Brunskill to PS and elevate him in place of Willis just for this game.

We got blown out in Nov with one of the most insane health disparities I've ever seen.

49ers missing: Bosa, Warner, Pearsall, Mykel Williams, Alfred Collins, Purdy, YGM with a few others banged up. That's at least 6 starters out.

Rams: Tutu Atwell, Ahkellow Witherspoon and Keir Thomas literally only guys on their roster out for that game. 0 starters.

That is a lot of talent to lose up front on a defense with weaknesses in the secondary. No wonder they took it to us.

There you are......Colliins, Williams, YGM....lol.

The defensive side hasnt changed much from that Nov game from todays roster. Bosa isnt ready. Warner of course is a difference maker.

Point isnt the depleted roster it was the lack of run game last year.
