I feel like they have the horses on offense with several Wrs coming back. A legit LG would be awesome. For me though a really good DE or a backend general at Safety. I suppose one could argue CB as well. I don't want to sell the farm for a Wr.

Not even a close call for me. I'd rather have the premium player, at a premium position, who's entering his prime, instead of a premium player near the end of his prime at one of the most replaceable positions on the field (especially given he's not a receiving threat).

Disagree. If you can't run the ball it's game over regardless of who is receiving.

Your also talking about two firsts at least vs potentially a first and third.

You just get more value IMO. Maybe taylor doesn't cost you a first either. Maybe it's a second.

My point is I think running back is as big a need as wr.

I think you get more value out of runningbacks for less draft capital also.

Look at what cmc cost and henry cost... Gamechanging for minimal capital.

He is, people just don't pay attention to lower round players, especially Lineman. If he was a 1st rounder who played exactly the same he'd be on the list.

If the measurables included IMPACT and STATS, he would be first or second on that list.

The Falcons were the first opponent to pay attention to the kid and limit his impact. He will probably see a lot of that in the coming weeks.

You might be right with the bolded. However the fact that Pearsall is injured and Aiyuk has lost the plot should tell you how much value we place in the position.

The Evans and Pearsall dynamic makes a WR trade tangible. If it's a rental, oh well fine you just wait for Pearsall to come back, and if it's a long term asset you just let Evans retire next year after winning us a Superbowl.

No one should be arguing that we don't need Edge rushers, but realistically Bosa and Williams are our long term edges, so in theory we only need a rotational guy.

The impact of losing cmc is worse than evans. They also keep using Christian more and more as the season goes on.

To be fair no one else is in the same spot we are. Multiple recent Super Bowl losses that we could've won. Aging roster. Very good team this year. QB signed long term. Cap room for multiple additions. Hit on late round picks.

Lynch should be going all in this year. We don't need a first round pick next year, it's going to be 25-32 range and the hit rate with this regime and league wide in general is low.

Even when Bosa comes back, we need edge rush help. We have no depth whatsoever there. Our WR corps is full of guys who always have nagging injuries in Evans/Deebo. God forbid something happens to McCaffrey.

I'm fine with giving up a 1st for the right player. G Wilson would be that guy.

Also we have good depth at ER with White and Height

The Jets have zero interest in trading him, so a team has to make an offer so absurd it makes them willing to cripple their rookie QB.
You value him at a 1st and 3rd whe saying at any cost. I value him at two 1sts, and two 2nds.

That 1st and 3rd you are offering, i would be hoping to get Wilson out of it. So why should i give up Wilson for the 32nd and 96th pick?

Would I like Wilson? Sure. But we're really, really starting to overrate him at this point. I get coveting a long-term WR1, but he's never had more than 1104 yards in a season (and we're in the 17-game era), has never been top 10 in WR receiving yards, has never made All-Pro or even Pro Bowl, he already has a recent injury history, and his rookie deal is already done.

He is not worth two 1sts, let alone two 1sts AND two 2nds. The entire league would laugh at us if we made that trade.

I would be happy to have him but for only one 1st and some change. Not two 1sts or a quarterback draft capital package lmao. His absolute ceiling is a Devante Adams trade package (1st + 2nd).

Last Kyle said was December is the hope. That's a long way away. And much more than the 10 weeks said previously. That would be 12 weeks before returning to practice.

I personally wouldnt give up all that capital for Wilson. I get going all in, and all that jazz...I just dont think thats the move to go all in with. Kyle is very particular about his WRs and what he wants from them, this team has either been drafting WRs or signing over-the-hill savvy vets who dont need to be taught and who actually want to be here (as opposed to getting their targets and looks and building their career for next contract)

And I dont believe Wilson is a top 5 WR right now either.
