Most damaging thing for me is devaluing of secondary year after year. At least they tried with high picks on OL and have spent top rate on C and LT with contracts. Ward was a bargain FA signing and that's the most they've ever spent. I just don't understand how a HoF safety doesn't want a top secondary.

Give Ahmad the keys with the mandate to pick the players ultimately,

There are 49ers' fans who clearly don't know about DL trying to explain away this terrible play from CJ West. First of all, I hate how he gets off the bal--pad level battle lost already. He rises rather than exploding forward. Then he allows his key(left guard) to get into his chest followed by terrible hand placement. Both of CJ's hands end up outside the framework of his guy. Just a poor, poor job just of providing any sort of resistance to the Raiders OL.



This is what happens you try to take on 600 pounds with brute strength rather than technique. CJ West gets completely turned around and ends up perpendicular to the line of scrimmage. Every DL learns from pop warner to the pros to fight like hell to stay square to the line of scrimmage. Mind you the RB is still in the backfield, and CJ is already completely turned.



What should CJ have done? Fire off the ball maintaining leverage; create knockback by attacking his primary key(the left guard; turn the DOUBLE into a SINGLE and turn 1 MAN into A HALF MAN; INSIDE HAND ON STERNUM; OUTSIDE HAND ON WRIST/BICEP; get a wide base and drop weight; fight like a rabid dog to stay square; ONCE YOU FEEL YOUR PRESSURE KEY--LEAN INTO THEM LIKE HELL. You have to fight like

I want to add that I do think most of this can be attributed to rust for CJ. He's not a bad player. Alfred Collins, however....

I think we still like B Willis because of his ST effort and last night he was used as a FS. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the final squad because of Juices finger and yesterday Shanny in his presser said Kittle had a "step back" ??

i think it's Cowing or Watkins. I'm guessing Watkins gets cut, and probably Kirk too.

pretty Down on Collins so if we can get a 4th or 5th for him I think he's being traded. Teams like mass, but we've had big dudes that stunk before.

it's a deliberate action by FOX News platforming Katner and amplifying him on the network. it's real intent is to distract from the bang up job their führer is doing in office by rage baiting morons who think this is an important issue in this country.

Expect a couple of the 53 to be filled by surprise cuts at S and DE. If a player who can rush the passer hits the open market expect Lynch to be all over him.
