The mid 2000s after the Attitude era wasn't really that bad, WWE was doing well but the past number of years they are really struggling with their talent and have either rushed guys too fast or given up on talent much too early. Reminds me of the mid 90s just prior to the start of the Attitude era.. it's a work in progress. I think WWE can become popular again but it's really up to them
Pretty much. They haven't created a new popular face that stuck since Cena, Batista and Orton.
And all three of those guys came into WWE at the same time, in 2002, when wrestling was still "cool".
