I agree that the Reigns thing is just so played out. I wish they would grow the balls to turn him heel already, be it before and on the build up to or during his WM match. He has the potential to generate tremendous heat.

Apparently the XFL is coming back in 2020. Announcement to be made today at 3PM.

WOW...this year's Mania just keeps on spiraling downwards. I'm all for the IC Title being in the spotlight, as it should but Braun could be doing so many other things at Mania.

Rousey claims she won't be in Rumble as she is filming with Mark Wahlberg in Colombia until mid February. Obviously she would not confirm a RR appearance if she was scheduled to make one, but perhaps the plan is to have her debut at WM, which would create a hook for RAW the night after and also lend WM a big surprise moment.

WOW...this year's Mania just keeps on spiraling downwards. I'm all for the IC Title being in the spotlight, as it should but Braun could be doing so many other things at Mania.

Wrestling a guy with a broken freakin neck wouldn't help Braun in any way and HHH is hardly on tv anymore so that feud they hinted at during Survivor Series has long been dead, and honestly what would it do for him? He already destroyed Hunter that night so who cares? At least with this, he gets to feud with the best talker outside of Heyman in the WWE, compete for a championship that has regained some of its relevance and murder the Miztourage every week in various ways. It'll be entertaining and put him over more with the fans until they are finally ready to give him the WWE Championship.

Makes sense for long term booking. Keeps Braun away from Roman and the Universal title and allows them to build towards a Champion vs Champion match at SummerSlam.
