Just my 2 cents.

There's a HUGE difference between a sanctioned MMA fight, and a couple of thugs beating a guy unconscious.

Just because a fight is sanctioned doesnt mean its not a fight. I could post some wicked mma clips. Would those then be acceptable? I am just trying to understand. Oh yeah, also that was a one on one fight that they excepted money to do. It wasnt a jumping or anything like that. Exactly the same thing as the countless Kimbo Slice post I have seen around. The rules just arent very clear on this. I could understand if it was in the PL. But I posted this in the appropriate thread where people would expect to see such things.

The rules of the Parking Lot apply to every thread on the forum. If you have any questions, you can PM myself or one of the other mods.

For one its in the rules that you agree not to post such graphic things. Two, that's not what MMA is all about. Sure people like to see brutal knees, punches, elbows and kicks, but if a fighter could tap out his opponent in 15 seconds without injuring him he would.

They both look 40+ yrs old and of course Randy's 45 now?

Mino's what? 34?

I don't think Randy can KO Mino--He'll probably pepper him standing up and rough him up during the clinch.

I think if Mino can get it to the ground he'll be able to overwhelm Randy.

I'm going out on a limb and saying Mino KO's Randy standing up with strikes late in the 2nd lol.
What you guys think about Lesnar/Carwin?

I've been saying that I thought Carwin was the only guy in the UFC that could beat Lesnar, so I'm pretty stoked for this fight. I suppose Velasquez would have a shot too, but I dunno, I thought Carwin was better suited to beat Lesnar - also a former college wrestler, same size, more punching power.

Lesnar's gotta be the favorite, but Carwin could pull this one off.

Carwin's chin was severely tested during the Gonzaga fight and that could be his downfall. Otherwise, yeah, I think he has a much better chance than Mir as there's noway Brock would be able to manhandle Carwin on the ground as he did Mir and Herring.

Mir, though, proclaims he was "this close" to finishing off Brock..he said he hurt him bad during that exchange where he landed an elbow and 2 knees but he f**ked up his leverage and Brock landed on him and recovered.

Did you guys see the post about Anderson Silva? Unless it's old news...he's stating he's willing to fight at heavyweight for the right money. Even Brock Lesnar!

A.Silva is getting cocky.

Just because Forrest sold out and threw the match, doesn't mean he now owns the Light Heavyweight division.

If that's the case, I'd like to see him fight Rampage or Rashad, since he won't fight Lyoto.

He straight up got whooped. No throwin the match. He was simply outclassed and made an example of.

I'll go with Minatauro on this one. Couture's striking is still pretty effective even at his age (showed a lot of confidence in it as he tried to stand and exchange with Lesnar), but I see Minatauro shooting in and taking him to the ground.

Minatauro: Round 2 via Arm-bar or RNC
So........I heard Wandy got a facelift........

As much as I like Nogueira, I think he's reflexes are just not the same anymore and if does win this one, it'll probably be his last.

I agree. Nog doesn't react quick enough anymore. This is a hard one to call. I thought Randy looked good in his last showing against Brock, but at the same time age can catch up quickly and at this his age it's more likely that it will happen sooner than later. Based on their last few fights though Randy has looked better. Either way I feel this match is a little irrelevant to the HW ranks. I don't see either stopping Brock.

That's pretty much true, but chances are Couture will want to stand and exchange and after Nogs got worked by Mir, I don't see that happening.
