Brokelona no-mo

Raphinha & Dembele BOTH?!?!? Wow! Lewandowski on the way and still trying to upgrade CB with Kounde!

Barca's attack will be something. They're 2 deep at every attacking position.

Thank you Leeds - excellent negotiation.

Won't mind selling Frankie now if we can get Silva from ManCity.

Greatest transfer window in the history of Barcelona…and not done yet. Wow this is gonna be a damn fun season. What a massive upgrade.

lol yea - good thing is - they gonna go out with a bang. Honestly - I don't know what kind of bs they're cooking with their books. This has to be some Breaking Bad Heisenberg type of s**t - selling cocaine on the side. They're still in debt of $1B and selling 25% of the next 25 years of TV rights is gonna catch up. But, unlike previous corrupt board - I trust this board a little more. We will see what they're really doing soon.
I just don't get it. I love how Barca is re-loading. But how the hell are these players getting registered? I'm very excited and very confused.

Yeah it's pretty confusing. Reports are that Bayern demanded payment up front because they are not convinced of Barca's solvency

Joking aside - my concern is more with - don't have another situation like Messi last year. That was embarrassing.

Don't think solvency is a concern for me. A US multi-billion $ company isn't gonna buy rights for 25 years for 500m upfront without scrutinizing every single line in the books. To me - that's just great negotiation by Bayern bc Barca under Laporte is offering transfer fees to be paid over 3 years.

Barca was no 4 in revenue last year. About 60M less than no 1 - ManCity ($740m). Spotify stadium naming rights kick in this year @ 70M/yr. alone will put Barca at no1. They lost about $25M in merchandise sale when Messi left. They'll gain that back w/ Lewy. Early exists in every single competition cost millions in lost revenue as well.

I don't think they're crazy to think that they can spend their way out of it - as long as they spend it smartly and on right players. Worst thing will be to stay irrelevant for 4-5 years & become AC Milan and lose all the "cache" so to speak. This transfer window is a perfect example. Players willing to take less salary and forcing their clubs to sell them to Barca.

Damn good pickup. 80M is a lot for CB but he's one of the best and still improving. If Barca wasnt so broke - they would have gone after him.

I'm happy with the Bayern offseason. Lost Lewy, but the pickup of Mane and De Ligt is fantastic. Gnabry just extended, so still have a very strong attack with Coman/Gnabry/Muller/Sane/Mane. Lacking a true striker, but Nagelsmann has played with the 3-5-2 before.

Also think Sane will be better with Lewy out. A few games I saw them together - I felt Sane couldn't play up to his potential bc he was deferring more than usual.

Ligt is a damn good CB. That's a great signing. I think he will be the best CB in the World at some point.
