North America isn't winning a World Cup in our life time

Idk about that. We aren't winning it in the next 20 years but in the next 40? I think thats absolutely a possibility

I hate it but I love it.

You can tell this draw is a sham though. Lewy against Bayern && Halaand against Dortmund - that's too much of a coincidence for me.

Group G and H are tough too.

Yea this is too obvious. They could have waited a year on these homecoming matchups but they went straight to looting the bank in broad daylight with no mask.

We will find out over the next month how good this Barca team really is (they have had an amazing start but I think they're a notch below City, Real, Bayern, PSG). But, there is no question the board and Xavi has done a damn fine job of re-building this team.

Lewandowski is still one of the best strikers in the World. Dembele and Raphinha relentlessly attack the wings. Young kids like Pedri, Gavi, Balde, and Araujo have been great.

But, gotta prove it against the top teams. They will likely lose at Bayern next week but I want to see them attack and create chances and play well. If they can survive this group in Champions league - I expect this team to be a lot better i when calendar switches to 2023.

Bayern is just better right now but I thought Barca played well. Better than I expected tbh. Barca at least looked like it can compete with a team like Bayern. Can't wait for second leg.

Bayern is just so so good and fundamentally strong. Pedri and Lewandowski missed some chances - but I thought Bayern deserved the win. Can't wait to see them again in 6 weeks. Barca must beat Inter though.

Barca looked really good, had some chances just didn't quite get them on target
Does LAFC vs Galaxy move the needle for soccer fans ? Here an LA many are anticipating tonight's playoff matchup "El Trafico" than Lakers vs Clippers home opener.

Barca was proper f**ked last week. f**king international break injuries had both their CBs out for a month. Such an unnecessary break in a WC year.

Oh well…focus shifts to La Liga now.
