Doing an Ike's Sandwiches group order at work today. Noticed they have a new sandwich called the Logan Webb. I didnt even look to see what was on it, nor do I care. Ordered!

I'd love to hear the reasoning on this. Seems Bum thought the checking went a little too far and I agree. And it seems the ump was eye f**king him. I assume they had beef over some calls earlier. Umps always showing out.

Bum was definitely baited. Ump probably had prior beef and knew he could get Bum riled up and toss him. I hope he calls the ump out in the postgame.

I didn't advocate for signing anyone in particular and I wasn't talking about this year specifically. And I don't think others have ether. We have had this same conversation for the last couple of year so its the overall approach. And every year people make different excuses why they shouldn't sign a player, and most have turned out to be incorrect. Previously it was wait until so and so comes off the books and the giants aren't rebuilding. But they turned out to be really good and could have used that player that year and the next. And now its they won a 107 games, they don't need anyone. Which also isn't true.

I said early on you have to build through the draft, but you also need a couple of key signings. And you cannot expect to do that in one year. And you can't expect to land a particular player in that year. They have a choice where they go. I think they did that for the pitching staff with guys like Rodon for example, but not in some places where they really needed help.

Looking back a lot weren't a good fit, but some were. Guys like Castellanos, Suzuki and Simien for example. And its not that they didn't...s**t they might have tried and we have no idea. I'm addressing the people making excuses and acting like they don't need an upgrade at a spot or two.

The giants are a really good team. Good manager. Good front office. But let's not pretend they don't need a big bat. A superstar to help fill the seats. I'd hate to miss this window to win it all thinking this team had all the answers.
