Exactly. Farhan would simply be admitting that the previous regime made a mistake and is correcting it now by trading for a young proven stud who cant leave until 2025. Who cares anyway what the critics say if they get a great young All Star.

Until Bishop turns into a bigger star and we look dumb yet again.

Reynolds is a five tool stud. I'll take my chances with him.

They would certainly trade him for multiple top prospects given their situation. I would rather trade our prospects for a guy like Reynolds than some rental pitcher thats for sure.

They would certainly trade him for multiple top prospects given their situation. I would rather trade our prospects for a guy like Reynolds than some rental pitcher thats for sure.

Except hitting isn't our problem. We lead the major leagues in HR, are 3rd in OPS, and 8th in runs. Trading 2 of our last four 1st round picks for Bryan Reynolds isn't a smart use of assets.

I sent a text message to 3 of my closest friends who are huge baseball fans, played in college, and know the game pretty well. They all said it would be a no brainer for the Giants to make that deal. Just their opinions obviously and nothing more than that but I was curious about their thoughts.

Reality is Pitt would want more and its a pipe dream anyway.

I would be looking at the big picture and not just the next 2 months. Getting Reynolds for LF in the next 3-4 years would be awesome. Bishop isnt that much younger, is hurt, and is still in low A ball. Bailey has made Bart tradeable.

He was arguably our best prospect at the time he was traded. It was an incredibly weak system at the time, but he was well known.

I think just about everyone did.

I just checked the top 10 prospects for us back then and through two lists, he was slated between Chris Shaw and Sam Coonrod. And then Christian Aroyo and Chris Shaw

Meh
