2025 San Francisco Giants Season Thread

I blame sixth. He came in with his suns collapse mojo and tainted this team.

I think you're right, SF. I forgot about that rule.

I'm not entirely sure of the details of that rule. At first I thought only if a guy comes in from the bullpen in the middle of an inning, he has to face a minimum of 3. So no more "left handed specialists" like Javy Lopez coming in and throwing 1 pitch and then leaving the game immediately.

But it may be no matter what a pitcher has to face at least 3. If that's the case, then nothing Kapler could do there but still a dumb choice to bring him in there when McGee was dealing.

+1.

And, I hate the three-batter rule.

No Bauer, Mookie, Turner, Seager... You have to win those games.

Nearly our entire infield is on the IL.
19 games against the Dodgers this year. Started out 4-7. Hopefully we can make it somewhat respectable over the 8 remaining. Also they get 10 home games and we get 9
Well that sucked. Forget Sterlin Marte, we need bullpen help.
If this pen wasn't so garbage to inconsistent they would be calmly leading the division, so many damn games have been blown with this damn pen
Really tough L yesterday.

We been saying this while people are solely focused on trading for Bryant. Lol

That was the 8th walk off loss for the Giants this year. Think about that.
Was that the worst loss of the season or nah?

We have plenty of hitting. Trading top prospects for Bryant would be stupid. Much cheaper and more effective to get the top middle relievers on the market.

Or, what about a lockdown closer like Kimbrel with the Scott Harris-Cubs connection?
