The Giants should have hired an experienced and proven GM to replace Farhan. How often do great players make great executives or managers. The answer... not often.

Way too many holes to really be competitive. Their goal should be to move their overpriced guys, retool, and aim for 2029 or so to really be a wild card contender. Easier said than done though.

Let's hope so. TJ surgery is highly successful now so there's reason to be hopeful. The thing is will he be sharp or will he need a season to regain his form. You never know with pitchers from one year to the next. Even healthy ones.

I just heard that they're promoting their 2 top prospects to A level in San Jose. Lot's of promotions throughout their system. Unfortnately not many pitchers.

tbh i don't even consider the bullpen. in my view the top priority is we have signed some of the absolute worst contracts in mlb and they will sink this team, heck they are sinking it now. they will probably doom buster posey in terms of his current role.

buster actually has a point on diaz and melancon is another example, i don't think mason miller would have us playing great baseball, we suck

get these loser contracts off the books so we can actually build a nice young core, guys who are motivated and not just telling off the manager and showing up to get paychecks only

that's the only focus right now imo; just having that money back is a huge win, i'd float raffy to whomever would take him and even eat part of the money

They're lucky none of then went into the crowd and caused a serious injury. A lawsuit like that could bankrupt a minor league franchise owner.

Did any of you see Will Clark's daughter? They showed her throwing out the first pitch. Wow! She is smokin hot. She just won the Miss Louisiana pageant and will compete for Miss America. Guys were probably afraid to ask her for a date with red ass Will for her father.

I just looked at the rest of the schedule and I only see a couple chances for a sweep. One is a 3 game series against the Rockies and the other is with the Reds. They have 3 series with Detroit, Cleveland and Minn. They're all around .500 but that makes them a lot better than the Giants.

I really thought they had a chance yesterday against the crappy Angels but once again they bats went silent for most of the game. The Giants will join a list of 8 really bad teams that didn't sweep a series.

Bad teams do surprising things. The Giants are a bad team. So, pulling off a sweep of a division leader like the Brewers isn't out of the question. They got off to a good start last night.
