I noticed on the bad send and following injury to Lee that the Dodgers catcher said something as he was walking away that got some fans riled up.

I have a hard time understnding why Lee get's thrown out trying to score or take an extra base. He has plenty of speed but he gets thrown out a lot. Is it bad judgement on his part or are the coaches over estimating his speed. Someone with that speed shoud be a better base runner and be more of a threat to steal. I know a lot of people complain about Lee's hitting but I'm okay with his hitting. I think the base running is a bigger problem and it's something that can be improved with work.

With the nickname "Grandson of the Wind" he should be a better baserunner/stealer.

I can't remember, but it was kind of a head scratcher, so maybe he went on his own

I was sitting there kinda questioning the bunt and wishing Susac was up.

Such a great moment. The bat flip and chest thump said it all.

I was literally saying out loud that Bailey just can't hit and he'll never be a good hitter. Two pitches later he hits that HR on a night when the ball wasn't carrying. One of the more shocking game winners I've seen in recent years.

In either case Lee and the base coach need to read the play better. There is actually more to base running than just speed. Knowing how to cut the corners on a base turn. Knowing how to slide instead of those awkward looking crashes that Lee does. He and the coaches need to know the arm strength of the outfielders better. He needs to learn the pitchers better so he can become a better base stealer.

All of those things can be learned. The 3rd base coach is new to the league so he gets a little bit of a pass.
