We got a lot of dead weight , Jung hoe Lee, Ramos , Bailey , all got no business starting

Huh? Whos' a better catcher than Bailey on this roster? Ramos and Lee are the best options they have in the OF. They can't just replace them when they have no other options right now.

Anyway wins and losses this early are hard to judge. Maybe the Yankees pitching staff is just a lot better this season. On the other hand the Giants pitchers held the vaunted Yankees to 3 runs in 2 of the games. Only 3 HRs in the 3 games and Judge and Stanton hit those. So the hitting didn't look good but the pitching (other than the opener) looked very good.

Funny how we always hear that power hitters don't want to play for the Giants because of the ballpark but those same guys don't seem to have a problem hitting them when they play at Oracle.

Agreed they have no better option but that doesn't mean they don't suck, Lee was a big overreach because they were desperate and gave big money to a unknown, he has spurts but disappears a lot and isn't there at seasons end when the games matter , Ramos always makes boneheaded mistakes, see his base running from last year, he mid at best, and Bailey lol don't get me started with him, I don't see why Eldridge can't get reps, he better than those 3 guys I mentioned already , and another thing is our pitching is meh too, let's be honest Webb was never suppose to be an ace, he a borderline 2-3 pitcher yet he forced to be an ace here because our owner cheap and don't wanna spend big money on a pitcher

Eldridge is a bonafide power hitting prospect that needs to learn how to be more selective. His SO rate of 35-40% is too high. It would be worse in the big leagues with the better pitching. The good power hitters all SO a lot but not at 40%

What happened was Giants fans anointed Fitz as the next big thing after one hot month and then he fell off. People never learn.

Dear Lord, all of those drafts under FarSide appear to have failed in the most spectacular of ways.

Is there one player drafted under his regime that has managed to make a big impact on the parent club. Just one?
I guess JHL still didn't figure out how to get a batting helmet that doesn't come off with every swing
Whoa save some runs for tomorrow boys

A full season of Ryan Walker as closer is going to be fun.

With the way he slings the ball across his body it doesnt surprise me if lefties have success vs him. Even his breaking pitches go directly into the wheelhouse of most lefties

So did Matos. So did Luciano. It says a lot that the Giants top prospect for years (Luciano) has been DFAd 3 times now and is currently back in AA with the Yankees. Too many of their prospects never rise beyond being a prospect.

He needs a bigger helmet.
Happy April Fools day Sidd Finch. 41 years ago today he and his amazing 160 MPH fastball were introduced to the baseball world in an article in Sports Illustrated.
