Prob not gonna happen, optics and what not.

I have heard Mark DeRosas name thrown around. I wish he had hired Stephen Vogt.

I don't care who it is, I would to get Kevin Cash from Tampa

Kapler is s**t. I would they hire Sergio Romo than meathead Kapler.

About dam time… was the right move, how you only manage .500 with all the talent, oh wait he did that with the Padres too when they were loaded, he just has no fire, no energy and it reflects, now let's go get boch

nothing against him as a human being he is a great person, just not a good manager

I totally think you are exaggerating the talent on the Giants. They have a huge hole at RF and 2B , a bullpen that needs serious fixing, and a rotation that lacks a true ace and is shaky on the back end.

I think it was time for a change but Buster has to do a better job in putting together a pitching staff and overall lineup that can truly compete.
Melvin was awful. That had to be done.
He's going to hire Rubs isnt he?

Bochy out in Texas

Missed this earlier and exactly what I was hoping for. Good riddance. Probably cost us 3-4 games alone.

Understand the Melvin firing.

IMO can't put it all on Melvin, some of these players were ass for long stretches of the season. Lack of talent at some spots and talent that we do have wasn't consistent enough

I agree with have some serious holes and players who werent exactly consistent all season. But I want to see some fire out of my manager. I want to see him have our players backs. When he tucked his tail between his legs and retreated to the dugout when Chapman and Adames were thrown out of the game against the Rockies, that was the last straw for me.
I hope Buster goes in a new direction. This team has been in a rut too long. They need someone to change the overall feeling on this team. Bochy did it back in 2010. Now they need another change that will light a fire under some of these players. Someone that will still be her ein 2 years. Constant change of managers and coaches is never good for a team. Players and organizations need stability.

No retreads is probably best, I want someone who is gonna be here for at least 5 years.

As much as I agree with you that Kapler is not someone I want with this team, at this point its pretty indisputable that he did more for this team with less talent than Melvin did.

But with that said, I still dont want Kapler anywhere near this team.
